Prepare for the ultimate mermaid experience and join us for an all inclusive and immersive weekend of free diving specifically designed for mermaids! This is a retreat style event for individuals you to earn your PADI Freedive and PADI Mermaid/Advanced Mermaid certifications. Led by professional mermaid Brandee Anthony the Vero Beach Mermaid and PADI freedive instructor Zeke Motta. The retreat is all inclusive which means your certifications, accommodations and all meals are included in the cost! When considering attending this event, please be sure to read through all the info below thoroughly before submitting an application.
YOU DO NOT NEED CERTIFICATIONS, PREVIOUS DIVE OR MERMAID EXPERIENCE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT BUT YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM!
ABOUT THE RETREAT
Enjoy 4 days and 3 nights in a beautiful all inclusive retreat style shared space in a newly renovated and beautiful river home. Each day is filled with education, in water mermaid and freediving training sessions, acro yoga, performance hypnotherapy, yoga, breath work, home cooked meals, business mentoring and community time. This retreat is all inclusive which means we take care of your accommodations, daily schedule and all meals so that you don't have to worry about a thing! The retreat is a full bodied experience that allows you to grow and transform in ways you never thought possible. The energy of the group coupled with our highly experienced team of professionals creates a safe and welcoming environment that you are sure to enjoy.
We will be training each day in a different Florida spring. The springs are clear and a constant 72 degrees year round. The springs are absolutely breathtaking and full of life. We cannot wait to share this piece of underwater paradise with you!

WHO IS THIS FOR
This retreat is designed for anyone interested in getting their level 1 freedive and mermaid/advanced mermaid certifications! Whether you are brand new to the mermaid world or already a professional - this retreat is a great addition for anyone! All skill levels welcome, you do not need to be certified already! Beds packages are based on first come first serve and have very limited availability! When booking please be sure to mention in the additional notes section on the application which accommodation you are interested in.
Rooms are first come first serve if not booked ahead of time. Please let us know if you plan to share a bed with a friend!
PHOTOSHOOTS
Professional photoshoots are available as an add ons to this retreat! Please specify if you would like to do the photoshoot when you apply! We offer a very special underwater photoshoot at a discounted rate of $350 just for our retreat students! Includes 3 fully edited digital images of you in your tail in the springs. Tails and tops are available for rent for the photoshoots! See our client closet here. You can email mermaidfreedive@gmail.com with your selections if you will be renting a tail or top for the photoshoot or specify your selections in the application!
THE SIGN UP STEPS
-Read through this page carefully

-Submit your application and include full responses (we read through all applications when considering approval)
-Once you have submitted your application wait for a response
-If you receive an acceptance response you will be sent an invoice and forms to sign
-You have 24 hrs to submit both the payment and forms to save your spot
-Once you have submitted your payment and forms you will receive a welcome email and info packet
-After receiving the info packet, please be sure to book any gear rental right away
-Complete your three PADI E learnings (Freediver, Mermaid and Advanced Mermaid) as soon as possible so not to forget
-If a doctor signature is needed on your medical, get that done right away
-Be sure to add yourself to the Facebook group to get to know everyone and coordinate ride share if desired
-We will post updates leading up to the retreat in the Facebook group so turn notifications on
IMPORTANT INFO:
We are so excited to offer you the first ever all inclusive mermaid freedive certification retreat! This will be an amazing four days of creativity and connection in the beautiful Florida springs tailored specially to mermaids. This retreat has very limited spots. To ensure the best experience for all, there is an application process. If you are eligible for the retreat you will be contacted in order in which you are received to move to the next step of payment! Full payment is due upfront to take a spot! Please visit the FAQ page before emailing with any questions!
If you are flying in, the best option is to rent a car as you will need transportation. Jacksonville is 1.45 hours and Tallahassee is 1.18 hours away from destination. After you have submitted your payment upon application approval, you will be emailed a welcome packet outlining all of the specific details about the retreat, what you will need and how to best prepare.
THESE SPOTS ARE ABSOLUTELY NON REFUNDABLE!!!!
There are no conditions in which your spot and payment would be refunded to you unless the retreat is canceled in emergency situations. These retreats are highly time intensive for our team and very limited in spots. Once you have paid you cannot ask for your money back under any circumstances. We highly recommend purchasing dive trip insurance to cover you in case of an unforeseen need to cancel.
If you are over 45 or have any medical conditions - please see the required medical form before signing up! There are no refunds if you sign up and do not pass your medical. Medical form can be found here. Pay close attention to the questions, not everyone will need a doctors signature so be sure to check if you do or not!
